Hello!
I’m Alex, an illustrator and artist born and based in Manchester.
As you can see from the picture above, I have always had an affinity for nature and all the interesting creatures that inhabit it. The fascinating way that life has adapted to its surroundings has influenced my practice massively. I enjoy creating art that fuses senses and wonder together, usually mixing big emotions with a dash of humour.
I have recently completed a BA (Hons) in Illustration with Animation and have an interest in character design and childrens illustration. Although my work is mostly 2D, I also like to include 3D elements in my projects, whether it be a few miniature figurines or a whole sculpture.
