Hello!~

I’m Alex, an illustrator and artist born and based in Manchester.

From a young age, I have always had a passion for wildlife, from the tiniest of insects to the majestic birds of prey. That’s why I tend to pay homage to the natural world through my artwork.

Within my practice, I enjoy using traditional media such as watercolours and coloured pencils to illustrate whimsical creatures and worlds. As well as nature, I like to explore themes such as mental health. As someone who has dealt with their own mental struggles, the main thing I want to do with my work is to bring a slight amount of joy into someone’s life, no matter how dire things seem.

I attended Manchester Metropolitan University for Illustration with Animation from 2023-2026. I work with both 2D and 3D mediums and am always open to collaborate on different projects!
